Deep UV cure – always
the right wavelength
For most UV inks, UV hardening is a matter of short wavelengths. Exceptions are, for example, opaque white or other special colours. Thick or reflecting ink layers can only harden thoroughly if long-wave radiation is applied.
Deep UV cure modules from Grafix offer optimum flexibility for that purpose. They have a harmonised reflector geometry and special gallium-endowed UV lamps. Since all the supplying connections remain unchanged, replacing the deep UV cure module requires only little effort. This does not only save time and prolong the life of the UV lamps – it also provides best hardening results in case of thick and paste-like ink layers.
