Powerful and
combinable
heat management
Efficient heat management extracts undesirable heat from the printing substrate – at the right time and at the right place. Grafix is adopting two approaches here:
- Heat reduction at the point of radiation, that is in the UV module. Large wear-resistant water ducts along the shutters and reflectors extract undesirable waste radiant heat – this is assisted by cooling air discharge along the UV lamp. Optionally a dichroitic coating on the reflectors and quartz glass filter in the radiation range supplements the heat absorption.
- Heat reduction in the substrate and in the printing machine (optional): The integrated cold air blowers provide additional cooling directly on the printing cylinder and on the layer before the sheet feed..
