Hybrid technology –
conventional printing
inks plus UV inks
Hybrid solutions are based on mixtures of conventional printing inks with UV inks. This requires the whole spectrum of dryers to be applied. It is the ideal solution for print shops that want to use both conventional inks and UV inks on one machine. An optimum solution for this purpose is an extended delivery area providing sufficient installation space for IR hot-air dryers and thus providing a longer path for better formation of a glossy finish.

- Utilisation of dampening agents and combination detergents analogous with conventional printing
Technical equipment for hybrid printing presses:
- IR hot-air dryer
- UV final dryer
- UV intermediate deck dryer between the last printing unit and the varnishing unit
- Printing press preparation same as for UV-resistant materials and mixing cylinders
