ink temperature control (FWT)
The separate ink temperature control systems from Grafix can be integrated into almost every printing press either as original equipment or as a retrofit package. They allow exact temperature control of the dampening units for constant printing prerequisites in various climatic conditions. This ensures constant ink temperatures even after a standstill or during full load operation. The available options are, for example, single or multi-zone tempering systems for waterless offset printing or upgrades of existing inking unit tempering systems. The separate ink temperature control method is based on the CD-EX series with the patented cold storage principle.
As ink temperature control largely depends on the place and conditions of installation, each system is custom-made as far as product equipment and performance are concerned.
Areas of use:
- Inking unit-dependent tempering, particularly for waterless offset printing: Temperature regulation can be optimised for the inks used.
- Central ink temperature control system for multiple printing presses: Central systems reduce maintenance and investment expenses.
